Thailand’s Retail Giants’ Supply Chain Efficiency Boost

“Thai Retail Giant Enhances Supply Chain Efficiency Across 224 Large-Scale Branches”

A prominent Thai retail company has significantly improved its logistics operations by investing in Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) inventory systems. In collaboration with Smart Reform Plus Co., Ltd., they’ve developed a Warehouse Management System (WMS) software, which is now implemented at their main distribution center in Wang Noi, Ayutthaya Province, as well as across 224 large-scale hyper stores nationwide.

The primary objective of this initiative is to optimize operations, streamline processes, and reduce costs throughout the supply chain. This encompasses various stages, starting from the receipt of products at the distribution center (DC) to their distribution in-store. The RFID system allows for swift and precise stock counts at store branches, facilitating frequent inventory checks when required. Additionally, it collaborates with loss prevention measures at the branches and supports preparations for online retail, a rapidly growing trend.

The RFID system simplifies inventory management, bolsters search capabilities, and ensures efficient product preparation and delivery for online customers.
